The right therapist is someone you feel safe with, heard by, and able to be yourself around. During our consultation, we’ll help you determine whether we’re the right fit. If not, we’ll do our best to connect you with someone who is.
At Nurture & Grow, we welcome children, teens, adults, couples, and families. We are skilled in various modalities tailored to treat diverse populations. We understand that everyone seeking mental health services is part of larger systems—families, friend groups, neighborhoods, towns, and jobs—and we incorporate this perspective into our therapeutic approach.
We are out of network and do not participate in insurance plans. However, many of our clients typically receive between 80% and 90% reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. Please find more information about our rates here.
Whether it's with your partner, child, or extended family, therapy can help untangle communication patterns, heal past wounds, and foster more meaningful connections. At Nurture & Grow, we help you build tools for listening, boundaries, and trust — so relationships feel safer and more nourishing.
Therapy provides a space to slow down and notice what’s underneath your stress. Together, we’ll explore what’s fueling your overwhelm — whether it’s perfectionism, trauma, people-pleasing, or burnout — and help you regulate your nervous system through evidence-based practices and emotional support.
You may not be feeling quite yourself and like you're just going through the motions, and it’s common to second-guess yourself when you’re struggling — especially when others around you seem to be “managing.” But if your child’s behavior, your teen’s moods, or your own emotional patterns are getting in the way of daily life or relationships, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to start.
Progress isn’t always linear, especially when big emotions or trauma are involved. But over time, you might notice your child or teen is more emotionally regulated, your family is communicating with less conflict, or you're approaching challenges with more calm and clarity. Our therapists will also share reflections and goals along the way so you’re never in the dark about what’s working.
We know that kids and teens often struggle to express what’s going on with words alone. Our therapists use expressive modalities — like play, art, or movement — to help them safely access and process emotions. Sessions are developmentally appropriate, consent-based, and collaborative with caregivers, so progress at home and in therapy align.
During your free 20 minute consultation call, we aim to provide you with all the information you need to feel comfortable and confident about starting therapy.
We'll discuss how to talk to your family and children about starting therapy, including tips on explaining the benefits and addressing any concerns they might have. We'll also outline what the initial sessions will look like, which typically involves getting to know you or your child, understanding your needs, and setting goals for therapy.
This call is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you have and share any concerns. We want to ensure you feel heard and understood, and that all your queries are addressed.
Whether you are an individual seeking therapy or a family looking for support, our team is here to assist you every step of the way. We look forward to helping you and your family find peace and thrive.
During your first session, you'll have the opportunity to get to know us, get comfortable in our space, and learn about how we work. We'll also discuss your family history, the reasons you're seeking therapy, and your treatment goals to better tailor our approach to your needs.
